GreytHR Integration Instructions

The first step to getting your Knoetic account up-and-running is to incorporate your HRIS data, and we integrate with a number of systems!

Step-by-step instructions

To complete this process, you must have either SUPER or CRUISER plans with greytHR.

  1. Open our secure key drop in a new window—you'll need this later!
  2. Log into your greytHR account.
  3. Under My Account, select API Details
  4. Select Employee & Salary API Key, select Generate API Keys
  5. A unique API Token will then be created for you. Copy the access token before you navigate away from this page because it will only appear once. 
  6. Fill out the required fields, select Other as the HR System option
    1. Paste your greytHR URL into the ‘Data’ section
    2. Paste the API key, API user, & Access ID into the ‘Data’ section
  7. Click submit!

Appendix: Privacy and Data Requirements

Knoetic requires only basic information about employees: staffing details, positions, compensations, and organization information.

Knoetic explicitly does not require personal information about employees such as:

  • Social security numbers
  • Emergency contact information
  • Credit card or bank account numbers

We instruct our clients not to grant access to these fields, and internally our data integration processes strip highly sensitive employee attributes before they ever hit our servers.
