Common Reports: Employee Lists
Say goodbye to cobbling data today, and hello to our dynamic Employee List builder.
We all love a good list—especially when they're real-time & easy to pull. Use the Employees tool to explore your People data and build list-based reports. All lists can be easily shared and saved. Find the Employees tool underneath the Org Chart in your left sidebar.
Below is just a sample of the types of lists you can create:
- New or Recent Hires list
- Employee Birthday List
- Employee Anniversary List
- Quality of Hire data
Create a list of New or Recent Hires
Create a list of all recently hired employees with their start date, manager, department, and as many columns as you like for a dynamic report that can be saved and shared.
- Visit the Employees report feature
- Select "Active" and set your time period to "Today"
- Add a filter to view a particular segment of employees or leave these blank to see everyone
- For example, you can add a filter for Tenure under 6 months!
- Click "Manage Columns" to pick which columns you'd like to see & click Apply
- For example, add Hire Date, Manager, Department, and Job Title to start!
- Name your report and click Save to keep it for later; you'll be able to reference this report in your Saved Reports folder or add it to a Custom Dashboard
Tip: Click the name of the column header to reorder your list (for example, by Hire Date)

- Add relevant fields, like Birthday, under "Manage Columns" & click Apply
- Name your report at the top left of the page and then click on the blue Save Report button
- This report can now be shared and can be found in Saved Reports. You can also add this report to a Custom Dashboard to compare reports or have them at your fingertips. Read more about Custom Dashboards here!
